Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
Upon your arrival at Cochin airport/railway station/bus stand, our representative will warmly welcome you and provide full assistance during your journey. We’ll then set out for Munnar, making memorable stops at enchanting places like Cheyyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, and captivating tea plantations. Once we reach Munnar, you can check in to the hotel and take a well-deserved rest for the remainder of the day. Relax and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel, preparing for the exciting adventures that await you in this picturesque destination
Day 02. Munnar Sightseeing
Embark on a Munnar sightseeing tour, a lover’s paradise! Explore flower gardens, photo point, honeybee tree, Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Rajamala (Iravikulam NP), Anamudy hills, and Blossom Park. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 03 – Munnar to Thekkady
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Thekkady, also known as Periyar. Your sightseeing in Thekkady will encompass the renowned Periyar Tiger Reserve, Periyar lake, and a thrilling Periyar lake boating experience. Additionally, you have the option for an exciting jungle safari (own expense). Rest for the night at the hotel, ready to continue your exploration of this captivating destination.
Day 04 - Thekkady
During your two-night stay in Thekkady, you have the flexibility to unwind and relax or partake in any missed activities mentioned earlier. Additionally, you can indulge in eco-tourism activities, including a full-day Gavi tour, trekking, Bamboo rafting, natural walk, Green walk, tiger trail, jungle patrol, and more (please note that these activities are optional and may require separate entrance fees). Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 05 – Thekkady to Alleppey
Embark on a scenic drive to reach a welcoming resort nestled in Alleppey. Delight in an excursion to the picturesque Alleppey beach, where you can indulge in shopping and leisurely strolls. Revel in the array of amenities offered by the resort, ensuring a day of relaxation and enjoyment. As the day gently transitions to night, find comfort in the familiar surroundings of the same resort for a tranquil overnight stay.
Day 06 – Alleppey Houseboat
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, the “Venice of the East.” Enjoy a remarkable 21-hour stay on a houseboat, surrounded by scenic backwaters, paddy fields, and coconut trees. Delight in drinks, snacks, lunch, and dinner on board. Overnight stay on the houseboat
Day 07 – Alleppey to Kanyakumari
The morning sun signals our departure from Alleppey as we set forth on a scenic drive to Kanyakumari. Given the considerable distance between these two destinations, with a minimum travel time of 9 hours, our journey must commence no later than 8 AM. Arriving early in Kanyakumari offers the possibility of witnessing the mesmerizing sunset, creating a delightful backdrop for our stay in this enchanting location.
Day 08 - Kanyakumari to Kovalam
Embrace the new day by either witnessing the captivating sunrise or sunset, a choice influenced by the prevailing climatic conditions. Our explorations commence with a visit to the revered Kanyakumari temple and the iconic Vivekananda rock, open for exploration from 8 am to 4 pm.
As the afternoon unfolds, we embark on a picturesque drive to Kovalam. Upon reaching our destination, we’ll seamlessly check in to the welcoming resort. In the evening, a leisurely visit to Kovalam beach awaits, promising a serene experience. The day concludes with a peaceful overnight stay at the charming Kovalam.
Day 09 – Trivandrum & Kovalam
For the day’s itinerary, we have two enticing options: a captivating Trivandrum city exploration or a leisurely sojourn at the captivating Kovalam beach until the evening hours.
If you opt for the Trivandrum city tour, you’ll have the chance to visit notable attractions including the revered Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, the exquisite Kuthiramalika Palace museum, the intriguing Napier museum, the artistic Sree Chithra art gallery, the vibrant Zoological park, the enlightening Science and Technology museum, and the regal Kanakakunnu Palace. Please note that the temple’s visiting hours are from 5 AM to 11 AM and 3 PM to 6:30 PM. However, do keep in mind that the Museum, Palace, Art Gallery, Zoo, and Planetarium remain closed on Mondays.
Alternatively, should you decide to spend the day at Kovalam beach, you can revel in its serene beauty until the evening hours. The day concludes with a comfortable overnight stay at hotel
Day 10 - Departure from Kovalam: Trivandrum or Cochin
For an optimal travel experience, we recommend arranging your return flight or train from Trivandrum, which would save you travel time compared to returning to Cochin. If you choose Trivandrum as your drop-off point, your sightseeing adventure continues in the city. Alternatively, for a drop-off in Cochin, you’ll embark on a scenic 7-hour drive back. Our dedicated representative will accompany you to either the Cochin or Trivandrum Airport, Railway Station, or Bus Stand, providing the necessary assistance.
